1.1) Portability:
TLC coverage is portable allowing the insured to keep their group coverage up to a maximum of $100,000 subject to a 2 year pre-existing exclusion from the porting date and priced based on his/her gender and age. The portable plan will terminate at age 70 and rates will be subject to yearly adjustment. It is the employee’s/members’ sole responsibility to contact the Plan Administrator within 31 days of employment termination to make arrangements or this provision will automatically become void.
1.2) Value Added – Plan Option & Class Benefit Flexibility:
TLC permits a different plan option and benefit amount by Class.
- Class 1 – $200k Gold
- Class 2 – $100k Silver
- Class 3 – $50k Bronze
